Estate & Probate

This is an area of the law where precise wording and experience is required to properly make your desires and directions clear and known. In addition, each state has exacting requirements necessary to make a valid and enforceable Will. Having an attorney draft your Will or Wills is extremely important to having security and peace of mind.

For example, in Florida, the signature must come at the “end of the will”.  If it is anywhere else, then the Will will not be valid. The Will must be signed in the presence of at least two witnesses, who must also sign the document in the presence of each other and the testator. Currently there is no provision for electronic wills in Florida.
